Paul Davies was a poet, author and artist. He lived in Chediston for many years, where he completed a large number of his paintings, influenced by abstract artists, in particular by painter Mark Rothko. Paul preferred to work with oil on canvas, and he has exhibited and sold paintings in Europe and America.
In 2012, Paul suffered a stroke which left him unable to continue with the detailed, exact work he so adored. In 2013, Paul moved to Halesworth, where he was well-known around the town until he passed away in 2021.
His family now want his work to be shared and enjoyed.
